Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the AJKFi website at ajkfi.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. The site is run by AJK Computers (AJK Computer Repair Services), Negros Oriental, Philippines. Contact: ajkcomputerrepairservices@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Account details - your name and email address. If you use a password, we store only a one-way hash of it, never the password itself.
- Google sign-in - if you choose "Continue with Google", Google sends us your name, email address, whether Google has confirmed that address, and a Google account identifier. We do not receive your Google password, contacts, files or anything else, and we do not post anything to your Google account.
- Licence information - the licence codes in your account, the Machine IDs of routers you register, and the licence history (when a router took a licence, when it last checked in, renewals). Routers send their Machine ID when they check in with our licence server.
- Security records - the IP address and time of sign-ins, failed sign-in attempts, and account changes, used to stop password guessing and abuse.
- A session cookie - one cookie that keeps you signed in. It is only set when you use the account pages. We use no advertising or analytics cookies and no tracking scripts.
Why we use it
- To create your account, sign you in, and confirm your email address.
- To show and manage your licences and deliver them to your routers.
- To send emails about your account: confirmation links, password reset links, and security notices such as "your password was changed".
- To keep the service and your account secure.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else sees it
- Your supplier - the distributor who sold you a licence can see that licence's status, the router it is on and its history, so they can support and renew it.
- Google - when you use Google sign-in, and because our account emails are sent through Gmail.
- Cloudflare - the site is delivered through Cloudflare, which handles the connection (including your IP address) to protect the site.
- Anyone we are required to share with by law.
How long we keep it
- Account and licence information: for as long as your account exists.
- Sign-in throttling records: about two days. Email links: a few days after they expire. Sent email content: about an hour; the record that an email was sent: 30 days.
- Licence history is kept for as long as the licence exists, because it is needed to support and renew it.
Your choices
You can change your name and password and turn Google sign-in on or off from Settings. To get a copy of your information, correct it, or delete your account, email ajkcomputerrepairservices@gmail.com from the address on your account. Deleting an account removes your account details; a licence itself stays valid and stays with the router it is on. You also have rights under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
Security
Passwords are hashed, the site is only served over HTTPS, and the licence server that signs licences is not reachable from the internet. No system is perfectly secure; if something goes wrong that affects your information, we will tell you.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
